We love to welcome families and dogs, and our cottage has been designed with that in mind!
We provide lots of baby and toddler equipment to save on your packing, including a cot, highchair, and baby bath. Indoor and outdoor toys and games are always available as well as books for all ages.
🎁 You will find an age-related welcome pack for children on arrival, plus our signature Flying Piglet cuddly toy for you to take on your adventures!
There is lots to do around the farm for children to get involved in! From feeding and helping us care for the animals, to collecting fresh eggs from the hen houses and walking our friendly Angora goats.
Up the lane, you'll discover a small fairy woodland trail with stepping stones and a bell to ring, plus a swing set under the old oak tree in the field overlooking the valley.
A walk down the lane takes you past cows and horses to a bridge over the shallow river — perfect for playing Pooh sticks!
Immediately behind the cottage, a woodland path leads you down to a quiet pebbly beach where children and dogs can safely paddle and splash about on warm days.
We happily welcome pets with a goody bag on arrival, including delicious locally made dog treats!
A short drive takes you to lots of scenic forest trails, and the many dog-friendly beaches of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion are from 45 minutes away. Most cafes and pubs in Llandovery are incredibly dog-friendly too, offering treats and doggie ice cream!
